Why the Cervélo S5?
The S5 collects jerseys—yellow, pink, green, and more. For years, the Cervélo S5 has been a mainstay at the front of the peloton. Pros like Wout van Aert, Marianne Vos, Jonas Vingegaard, and Simon Yates have ridden the S5 to victory on the biggest stages in cycling. It was dominant before, but now it’s both lighter and more aerodynamic than ever.
Shedding 124 grams from the previous generation S5 frame, the carbon layup has been optimized and the hardware upgraded to reduce weight—despite the increase in fork and head tube depth. These increased tube depths reduce drag; the S5 saves you 6.4 watts over its predecessor and is at least 5 watts faster than the competition.
The S5 features Cervélo’s Plus-Four concept handlebars—all frames include a +4 cm flare from the hoods to the drops. This puts you in a more efficient, aerodynamic position while riding on the hoods, while still offering stability in the drops when sprinting or descending.
To complement the S5, Cervélo and Reserve teamed up to produce the 57/64 wheelset. Following the theme of the redesigned S5, this wheelset is lighter than the 53|62 found on the previous generation, while also saving you 3 watts.
Technical Details
A new front end and a seat tube profile, combined with new Reserve wheels, save 6.3 watts over its predecessor. Cervélo has long been the aerodynamic leader in the peloton and is confident that the new S5 is at least 5 watts faster than the bikes of its competitors.

Sizing Guide
The sizing chart is a great place to start when picking your next bike but everyone will fit a bike a bit differently. Your torso, arm, and leg lengths all play into what size of bike you may need. Plus, there's your own personal preference.
We always recommend swinging by the shop and taking the bike that you're looking for a spin to see how it feels. If you're unable to come by, looking at the geometry of your current bike and comparing it is a good place to start. If you have any further questions, our customer service team is there to help.
