The Darco rolls on 29” wheels and has 160mm of travel up front paired with a stout 120mm in the rear, a hardtailers full-suser if you will. Chromag's geometry philosophy has carried right over onto this bike, pairing slack head tube angles (64°) and steep seat tube angles (78°), with ample room up front (490mm reach on M/L).

Chromag Darco

The Chromag Darco blends the unmistakable ride quality of chromoly steel with the capability of a modern full-suspension platform, creating a sharp-edged all-mountain machine that’s as agile on punchy climbs as it is composed on steep, technical descents. Don’t let the 120mm rear travel fool you—the Darco is designed to pair with a 150–160mm fork and thrives on advanced trails, offering the confidence of a bigger bike with the snappy responsiveness of something far lighter. Its steel front triangle delivers that classic Chromag feel, while the forged aluminum rocker and 6066 aluminum chainstays strike the perfect balance of stiffness, durability, and precision. Suspension kinematics are dialed with a trunnion-mounted 4-bar layout delivering 29% progression, consistent anti-squat around 110%, and buttery braking behavior across the travel range. Enduro MAX bearings, a UDH-compatible dropout, and fully accessible pivots speak to a design built for years of abuse and easy upkeep. Finished with a unique head tube badge and obsessively prepped at Chromag HQ, the Darco is a no-fuss, ride-everything, steel-framed shredder with soul and serious intent.

Sizing Guide

The sizing chart is a great place to start when picking your next bike but everyone will fit a bike a bit differently. Your torso, arm, and leg lengths all play into what size of bike you may need. Plus, there's your own personal preference.

We always recommend swinging by the shop and taking the bike that you're looking for a spin to see how it feels. If you're unable to come by, looking at the geometry of your current bike and comparing it is a good place to start. If you have any further questions, our customer service team is there to help.
