Bike Check: Jackson Goldstone World Cup V10

It’s not every day you get to have a World Champion’s bike sitting in your shop. For the next couple of weeks, we’re beyond stoked to have Jackson Goldstone’s Santa Cruz V10 on display — the very bike that carried him to four World Cup wins, leading to the overall title, and a World Championship victory.

After a season spent yelling at screens and living on the edge of our seats, it feels pretty special to get up close with the machine that made it happen.

All part of the setup: Jackson rides a size Medium V10, dialed to his unmistakable style — bars rolled forward, brake levers steep and nearly parallel to the ground, and weights still zip tied to the bottom bracket to help the featherweight champ carry more momentum down the track.

Not everything came with the bike, though. Some secrets clearly stayed in the pits — those prototype Maxxis tires spotted earlier in the season didn’t make the trip. But the bike does feature a few mystery parts, including an Ochain labelled “Prototype” and what might just be the much-anticipated next-gen Saint brakes.

Jackson’s bike oozes race history. Mud still clings to the loam shelf, and his worn gloves rest on the custom OneUp grips — a stark contrast to the brand-new bikes that usually fill the showroom.

Don’t miss your chance to see the bike that made our entire racing season so exciting, up close. Come see it in-store at 969 Marine Drive in North Vancouver!
