What is a "mesh" fabric?
Mesh fabric is thinner, lighter and more ventilated than cotton or polyester. This breathable fabric wicks away perspiration more quickly.

Why windproof?
When cycling, your speed greatly increases the sensation of cold. An outdoor temperature of 10°C will feel like 7°C when cycling at 25 km/h.
A windproof barrier helps prevent air entry, subsequently reducing heat loss.
