At the heart of the new DEORE M7200/M6200 drivetrain is the robust rear derailleur engineered to deliver smooth, reliable shifting even under heavy pedaling. The derailleur features a lowprofile wedge shape stabilizer design, similar to Shimano’s latest Di2 mountain bike drivetrains. Its slim shape helps deflect trail impacts and avoid snagging on rocks or obstacles, allowing the derailleur to spring back into position without missing a shift.  

Low Profile Design 
Shimano Shadow ES technology delivers a wedge-shaped design that reduces the derailleur’s front-facing surface area and eliminates edges that could catch on rocks and roots.  

Super Strong Design
The rear derailleur body boasts a wide, well-braced linkage and solid pulleys to minimize debris entry and ensure durability. 

New Chain Stabilizing Technology
With Shimano Shadow ES technology, the dual spring design creates higher chain tension for better chain wrap and retention. 

Options for both Hyperglide+ and Linkglide
Riders have the ability to choose between lightning fast shifting under load with Hyperglide+ or prioritize maximum durability and smoothness with Linkglide.
