The Shimano Type C flat mount rear bolt is used to mount flat mount rear brakes to the frame. The brake caliper is either attached directly to the chainstay (with 140mm brake rotor) or via an adapter (with 160mm brake rotor). The bolt is available in different lengths for frame diameters from 10 to 35mm.
