Wide Open, Dawn To Dusk

The Highball is Santa Cruz's flagship carbon hardtail race bike, known for its versatility in cross-country (XC) riding. It offers more capability than a pure endurance bike and more composure than most XC race bikes. The Highball has been refined to be easier to ride harder for longer, thanks to a fine-tuned carbon layup process and low-angle, bridgeless seatstays that join the seat tube below the top tube junction to reduce trail chatter.

Designed around a 27.2mm diameter seat post, the Highball aims to make hardtail riding more comfortable. It has the mindset of a race bike but is prepared for more, with the capacity for three bottle cages, a reliable threaded bottom bracket, and a lifetime warranty that comes standard with all Santa Cruz bikes.

The sizing chart is a great place to start when picking your next bike but everyone will fit a bike a bit differently. Your torso, arm, and leg lengths all play into what size of bike you may need. Plus, there's your own personal preference.

We always recommend swinging by the shop and taking the bike that you're looking for a spin to see how it feels. If you're unable to come by, looking at the geometry of your current bike and comparing it is a good place to start. If you have any further questions, our customer service team is there to help.
