This waterproof hybrid between a backpack and a bike bag is not only impressive because of the quick change between the functions, but also because of its laptop compartment and roll-top closure. The Vario Lite is primarily a backpack, and its weight of just over one kilogram and slim profile make it perfectly suitable for everyday use.
Its second function as a pannier with the Quick-Lock 2.1 mounting system is hidden under the elastic mesh cover. This mesh cover allows you to switch between backpack and bike bag in seconds and also houses a zip pocket that remains accessible in both modes.
