We build bearings, so we build bottom brackets. T47 is a standard we helped develop, an answer to the imprecise and often loud press fit bottom brackets that appeared on the market a few years ago. T47 offers the benefits of larger bottom bracket shells, mainly frame stiffness, with the upsides of traditional, threaded bottom brackets, precision and quietness.
Why You Want It
ThreadFit™ T47 30x fits 68mm and 73mm shell widths with 30mm spindles.
This bottom bracket comes packed with King’s legendary, angular-contact bearings, either steel or ceramic. These are the best bearings in the industry, and actually get faster over time, as their contact surfaces wear.
You want this bottom bracket because it offers super low drag. You want this bottom bracket, because it can be opened, cleaned and repacked for years of faithful service. You want this bottom bracket, because you don’t want to think an awful lot about your bottom bracket.
Your Fit Kit extends the useful life of both your bottom bracket and your cranks, it reduces the potential for noise, and it also allows you to use one bottom bracket with a wide array of cranks, if that’s your jam.
Fit Kit #3 (PBB083) for ThreadFit™ 30 with 30mm spindle cranksets.
Fit Kit #5 (PBB085) for ThreadFit™ T47 30x and T47 30i with 30mm spindle cranksets.
For DUB cranks we have two fit kits to choose from, Fit Kit #1 DUB A and Fit Kit #2 DUB B.
Fit Kit #1 DUB A is going to cover all DUB mountain fitments, as well as DUB road fitments with ThreadFit™ T47 bottom brackets.
Fit Kit #2 DUB B is for ThreadFit 30 with DUB road cranks.
For DUB mountain cranks there are a few extra fitments notes to be aware of. If you have a 68mm BB shell you will need two 2.5mm Cup Spacers (PBB008B for BSA, PBB078 for T47).
For DUB Super Boost + cranks you will need one additional spindle spacer kit (PBB081).
