The Santa Cruz Highball is a flagship carbon hardtail designed for racing, known for its versatility in cross-country (XC) riding. It offers more capability than a typical endurance bike and more composure than most XC race bikes. The Highball has been refined to be easier to ride harder for longer periods. The carbon layup process has been fine-tuned, and the low-angle, bridgeless seatstays connect to the seat tube below the top tube junction to reduce trail chatter.
The bike features a 27.2mm diameter seat post, which helps make hardtail riding more comfortable. It has the mindset of a race bike but is prepared for more, with the capacity for three bottle cages, a reliable threaded bottom bracket, and a lifetime warranty that comes standard with all Santa Cruz bikes. This makes the Highball a bike that is built to go the distance.
