Salsa Timberjack SLX

With Timberjack, we set out to design the most versatile hardtail mountain bike around. Timberjack SLX 29 starts with an aluminum frame built on progressive trail geometry that’s plenty sendy on descents without feeling awkward pedaling back up. The 130 mm RockShox 35 Silver TK fork handily manages trail chatter for a controlled ride. With plenty of on-bike storage, you can leave the backpack or hip pack at home. Our Alternator 2.0 dropouts are adjustable to allow for many different drivetrain options and ride characteristics. 29 x 2.6" wheels and tires offer a nice blend of grip and rolling efficiency. Shimano’s SLX 1 x 12 drivetrain hits the sweet spot of functionality and affordability.
