The Rocky Mountain Instinct is a versatile trail bike designed to handle everything from technical climbs to aggressive descents. It features up to 160mm of front and 145mm of rear travel (depending on components), making it perfect for tackling a variety of terrains. The Instinct is available with either 29-inch or 27.5-inch wheels, and the adjustable geometry allows riders to fine-tune the bike’s handling using Rocky Mountain’s RIDE-4™ adjustment system and a two-position axle dropout. This gives riders flexibility to adapt to different riding styles and conditions.

Engineered for adventure, the Instinct features refined geometry, including a steeper seat tube angle, longer chainstays, and customized tuning for each frame size to ensure small-bump compliance and overall ride quality. Sizing Guide

The sizing chart is a great place to start when picking your next bike but everyone will fit a bike a bit differently. Your torso, arm, and leg lengths all play into what size of bike you may need. Plus, there's your own personal preference.

We always recommend swinging by the shop and taking the bike that you're looking for a spin to see how it feels.
