The CliffHanger is the flagship trail model in the ABUS MTB series. When you're riding up and down steep hills on an enduro bike, the MTB helmet offers excellent ventilation and protection.
Lighter, better ventilated and with an adjustable TriVider helmet straps - the CliffHanger scores with these features. The special MTB adjustment system also ensures that the helmet sits comfortably and firmly on the head when riding through the wildest of rock gardens. The inner shell made of EPS hard foam is foamed into a three-part outer shell, making a lightweight and rugged helmet. The multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) can reduce energy by up to 40 percent in the event of an oblique impact.

- Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear
- Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
- Mips layer: thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the energy-absorbing shell of the helmet to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall
- Height-adjustable peak: the position of the peak can be adjusted thanks to locking positions to provide optimum protection from hanging branches and sunlight
- Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size

- Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

- In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) – this creates a durable and robust connection
