The pedal is then fully CNC machined, to remove as much material as possible. Internally, a short, cromoly axle, with an inboard hollow cut-out further reduces the overall weight to just 394g.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eProprietary Binding\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Renthal developed binding uses easy entry geometry. This allows the rear jaw to move down and away from the cleat, on engagement. The effect is a reduction in force required to engage the cleat, for a given spring tension. The bindings feature independent adjustment, with a huge range of spring tension, to suit any rider preference. Renthal bindings are fully SPD compatible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAxle System\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe patent pending axle system, features in the Revo-TRC allows full home servicing, using standard tools, found in anyone’s toolkit. All is required is a 6mm and 8mm hexkey, a standard 8mm socket, a torque wrench and a mallet. The unique system uses the axle to both remove and re-install the bushing. The bearings are also pressed into place, using the pedal internals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDurable Internals\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Revo-TRC spins on an inboard Igus bush, which is sealed against the elements with a full-contact wiper seal. Centrally mounted, there are three cartridge bearings, directly in-line with pedalling forces, to massively increase durability.
