The Mighty few…
What we lacked in in numbers, we more than made up for it with intensity and sheer will! The call went out late to round up volunteers for the first trailday of the year hosted by Steed Cycles and Devinci Cycles. Through the NSMBA’s TAP program, Steed Cycles, along with some able bodied trail builders have undertaken an overhaul of the Shore Classic.
Under cold but sunny skies, Dan (NSMBA) lead a 5 person machine team consisting of Kelly Jones (Steed Cycles Race Team Queen), Steve Mitchell (Devinci Cycles Rep), Mike Murphy (Steed Cycles Team Member), Marty Lazarski (EX Pro MTB XC Champ) and myself Dan Gronross (Ex President/Steed Cycles Team Manager) through his visionary plan for the venerable trail.
We were quickly put to work digging gold, moving rocks and tearing up/rebuilding sections of the trail.
Steed Cycles will be working on Boogieman again on April 27th, 2013. Details in the shop and online at NSMBA
